Part P compliant electrical work for kitchens and bathrooms across Chelmsford and Essex. From cooker circuits to heated towel rails — all notified and certified.

Kitchens and bathrooms are the most demanding rooms in the house electrically — and the most regulated. All electrical work in these areas must comply with Part P of the Building Regulations and be carried out by a registered contractor.

Kitchen electrical work we cover: new cooker circuits (single and double ovens, range cookers), kitchen island socket circuits, extractor hood wiring, under-cabinet lighting, dishwasher and fridge-freezer sockets.

Bathroom electrical work: electric shower installation and upgrades, heated towel rail wiring, bathroom extractor fan installation, shaver sockets, recessed IP-rated lighting.

All work is notified to Building Control via NICEIC, and you receive a full Minor Electrical Works Certificate. This is essential for building control compliance and for your property records when you come to sell.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need permission for kitchen electrical work?

Work must comply with Part P. Because we're NICEIC registered, we self-certify the work — you get a certificate and it's notified to Building Control automatically.

Can you wire a new cooker?

Yes — including running a new circuit from the consumer unit if needed. We'll assess what's required and give a fixed price.

Can you install a shower?

We can wire it — you'll need a plumber for the water side. We often work alongside plumbers on bathroom renovation projects.
